My name is Christi and I began Doodle Cookie in honor of my hero, my mom.
Her name is Mickey, also lovingly known by her family as "Doodle". She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, among our fun, loud, and boisterous Irish and Italian family. My mom loves birds, the color pink, and everything about St. Louis including the amazing gooey butter cakes that originated from there. Gooey butter cake was a consistent tradition in our home growing up and it brings fond memories of my mom with every bite. Her love of St. Louis and gooey butter cakes inspired my passion for creating unique gooey butter flavors and my love of curating the best gooey butter cookies.
